Spring 1973.
I bought one Triumph Bonneville T120R, the American version made 1970.
I and my wife today used this bike during the Spring, Summer and Autumn 1973.

Winter 1973.
I sold away the bike to a man I know, I needed the money for the last Year in School.

Summer 2013.
I bought back the bike again from the man I sold it to 1973.

He keept the bike and drove 85 Km with it during the 40 Years he owned it.
He stocked the bike very good and started it regulary up to keep it in good condition.
At the moment we are looking over the bike and it will be ready until the summer - 2014 to be back on the Swedish roads again.

The Frame and Engine Number on this bike is CD 44784 T120R.
This number tell us that the bike is built during march 1970.

This match that this bike is delivered with fulll cromed Horns.
Later made Bonnevilles T120R from 1970 were deliverd with black Horns with cromed caps.

The UK version from the Bonnevilles T120 from 1970 were deliverd with black Horns with black caps.

This bike has never been in bad condition.

During the 40 Years " it was away from home ", minor things were changed and today we are taking it back to original again.
We try to be as close to original as possible.

Of course we are using English Tyres.

Front Tyre: 3.25 x 19".

Back Tyre: 4.00 x 18".
Since this bike was new it has been driven between 7ī000 up to 8ī000 Km.

The 1970 Triumph Bonneville was not only the high water mark in Triumph 650 development, it was also the last Year before the dreaded Oil-in-Frame bikes arrived, and all the problems began.

I can still remember and I can still hear the Laugh when we during the middle - end of 1960 saw the first Japanese Bikes.
